Framing:
We specialize in custom framing to meet your design and preservation needs. Friendly service, listening to the customer, and fair pricing are all top priorities. Our home and yours is of the utmost importance to us, so, the majority of our offerings are sustainably managed; whether it be LEED approved products, locally-milled windfall Alder, or acid-free matting approved by the Forest Stewardship Council .

We usually feature one local artist a month in our fun boutique venue.

Art Supplies:
We carry a selection of studio grade art supplies. Feel free to call and find out if we have what you need in stock. If we don't have it on hand, you could save yourself a chunk of change--we can usually get it within 5 days and Special Orders receive 25% off MSRP. Students of our Art Classes also save!

Current instruction is provided by Chris Dennis, BS in Drawing and Painting. Classes are generally taught toward a contemporary aesthetic.

SATURDAYS
Painterly Carbon + Graphite:
Experience the exciting potential of water-soluble drawing media!  No previous drawing experience req. 
9:00 am - 10:30 am
$100 + supplies

Beginner's Acrylic:
Frustrated by watercolor?  Irritated by oils?  Acrylic is here to help.  This very forgiving, versatile medium is eager to please.  
11:00 am - 12:30 pm
$100 + supplies

Earth Friendly Media:
Make and use recipes for earth conscious art supplies. The book, Green Guide For Artists , is included with course fee.
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
$120 + supplies

Easy Woodblock Printmaking Techniques:
Using pyrography (a fancy word for woodburning), we'll easily create relief prints without the usual elbow grease associated with using a gouge.  
3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
$200.  Supplies included.

Introduction to Water-Soluble Oils
Easy soap and water clean up with the lush, authentic, feel of painting with oils.  We will focus on portraits in this class

Advanced Acrylic Advisory
Designed for the artist already familiar with acrylic, but wanting to push the envelope of their experience. Students will self-direct their own projects.  Instructor will offer experimental media suggestions and demonstrations for expanding the horizons of their current work.
